If your table is along an exterior wall and you'd like to hang something behind it, you may NOT use Command Hooks or permanent adhesives.

The only acceptable options for hanging materials on the venue's walls are painter's tape or gaffer's tape.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Here are some accommodations we recommend in the area:

The Guesthouse Hotel located minutes away in Andersonville — features large, apartment-style suites complete with kitchens, living space, and garage parking.

Hotel Zachary — located in nearby Wrigleyville — boutique, modern, luxury accommodations with a residential feel.

Hampton Inn Chicago North - Loyola Station — located just north of Ravenswood and close to public transit.

Homestay/Airbnb/VRBO — When booking on these platforms look in Ravenswood, Lincoln Square, Northcenter, or Andersonville to be closest to the venue!

LIMITED EDITION PRODUCTS

Having items that are limited edition and only available at Chicago Stationery Fest is a great way to get attendees excited about what you have to offer and to increase sales!

We highly recommend offering limited edition items during CSF. These items can be themed to your particular brand, Chicago, or stationery.

Please note: you may only use the Chicago Stationery Fest branding, logo, and colors with prior approval.

PACKAGE RECEIVING

If you’ll be traveling to Chicago Stationery Fest and need to send products or fixtures ahead, we recommend contacting your accommodations to arrange package delivery. Many hotels and Airbnbs will allow you to ship packages ahead. The UPS Store in Northcenter (close to Artifact Events) also offers package receiving services for $5-$10 per package. Please call ahead — (773) 871-1400 — to arrange!

CSF STAMP RALLY

The Stamp Rally is open to VIP Weekend Passholders, and encourages them to shop with vendors and collect stamps to qualify for a gift bag filled with products donated by vendors. The CSF Stamp Rally is a purchase-required activity, meaning participants must make a purchase at your table to collect a stamp to earn prizes. If you choose to participate, you will send us 30 items (valued at at least $5 each) prior to the event for use in Stamp Rally gift bags. These items must arrive at Paper & Pencil between February 16 and February 25.

They should be shipped to:

CSF Stamp Rally
c/o Paper & Pencil
1480 West Berwyn Avenue
Chicago, IL 60640

As a thank you for participating in the Stamp Rally, we will highlight your participation in the event guide, provide signage at your table, highlight your participation on our event website, and include you in a group social media post prior to the event.

SALES TAX

A 10.25% sales tax must be charged on all products sold in the State of Illinois. It is each vendor’s responsibility to collect and remit this sales tax.

For those vendors with a valid Illinois Business Sales Tax Account: you should file your sales taxes according to IDOR requirements.

For those vendors without a valid Illinois Business Sales Tax Account or from outside of Illinois: you must file an IDOR-6-SETR/Special Event Tax Collection form and remit your tax payment to the Illinois Department of Revenue within 10 days of the close of the event. The IDOR-6-SETR form will be available to download before the event. If you participate in three or more trade shows, fests, markets, art fairs, etc. based in Illinois a year, you must apply for an Illinois Business Tax Number. Once you are registered, you will receive a ST-1 Form along with payment instructions. If you participate in less than three trade shows, fests, markets, art fairs, etc. based in Illinois a year, you must use the IDOR-6-SETR/Special Event Tax Collection form. This form will also be available on-site during CSF — please ask our Vendor Coordinator for a copy.
